No it isnt. But there have been a few changes to the driver since 2.6.9,
so you should try again using 2.6.10-rc2.
If that doesnt work either, then you should make sure the USB verbose
debugging option is turned on in the configuration and collect a system
log showing what goes wrong when you plug in the flash drive with the
drivers built into the kernel. Post your log on linux-usb-devel and CC:
the maintainer of the ehci-hcd driver.
